Every year on the 21st of April, we commemorate Hari Kartini (Kartini Day), a day to celebrate the Indonesian hero of women’s empowerment – Raden Ajeng Kartini, or better known as Ibu Kartini. This year, PG-K students celebrated the Kartini Day by wearing traditional costumes from many regions across Indonesia. We also had a mini performance by singing the national anthem and traditional songs. We also had a parade to display our costumes in front of parents and other students.
